These photos were taken during the time I was working for F&B World Magazine as an in-house photographer and we were doing an article about Manila Hotel. It was actually my first time dining in this hotel and I wasn't really expecting that much since the hotel's facade was not really that attractive. Also, it was a really old hotel especially today where hotels in the Metro are like mushrooms that pops out like every month. But I thought wrongly about what's inside because everything I thought about this hotel was a mistake after all. The interiors were far from being old. They've updated the look and the feel of the hotel from the inside. The food, I don't even want to start! But I would definitely recommend this hotel for their exquisite buffet. Definitely one of the best I've had so far. Just disregard their facade! It maybe a front of them saying "We're being humble." Manila Hotel & Head Chef Jin Seok Heo with his signature korean dish.
Thinking about it, on the first day of 2013, I mentioned that this will be my year, and it was! Almost everything I thought of doing was accomplished. My catering business, where my photography was headed, the things I love doing and most especially, my family, me as a father and a husband. I must say, everything went well. And I would like to thank everyone who helped me along the way!
Now is the last day of the year. And I’m hoping that 2014 will be as good as this year or maybe better! Who knows! Happy New Year everyone! You can find me on INSTAGRAM: http://instagram.com/samjlim26
The reason why I don’t put all those chemical shit in my food. My kitchen just becomes a better place with all these flavoring veggies.
So me and the boys went to the Beach of Boracay this summer. Here’s a sneak peek of what I saw as we lay our asses on the shore waiting for the sunset.
